WHY WOULD WE BENEFIT FROM UTOPIA EARTH?

Utopia Earth recognizes that societies and our species have become more complex and move faster and faster, and that these things are contributing to division, anxiety, stress, sickness and pollution. Despite having more stuff and things to do, overall we are less happy and content. It seems that more and more people are suffering from physical or mental health issues, especially children.

HOW CAN WE ACCOMPLISH A UTOPIA EARTH?

We are such an advanced, efficient, capable species that IT IS possible to work to create our Utopia once we stop working so hard against each other and work together to have a world that best provides for us all!

As a social, communicative and capable species, all we have to do is decide that we are ready to work together and it will begin to happen. (However unpleasant, Covid was proof that our planet can turn on a dime).

The whole idea is very simple and basic. It almost seems as if the idea should be obvious.

Belief, optimism and hope can lead to wonderful, great and exponential possibilities.

Future paid positions or Volunteer: We need to find people that enjoy being kind, considerate, who feel passionate and would like to be a part of making significant positive change begin.

Your financial support or participation would be appreciated. There is much that our fledgling organization needs to do, including all the hurdles of getting the organization properly established, also IT managment, advertising, public outreach, fundraising, grant writing, etc.

I am a simple, middle-aged entrepreneur. I started my first business at age 16. It was a pet supply business in my parents' garden center. That business led to me becoming a horticulturalist and landscape designer. It is wonderful to be able to work with plants and make people's lives happier. I have now been doing landscaping / landscape design since 1999.

In the summer of 2022, I started becoming aware of detrimental and significant things that many people do in their yards, Things that cost time and money to homeowners and pollute their yards and soil around their houses. Things that people do without much thought.

And asking a big WHY?

Just because every one else does something does not mean that we should.

Just because we can afford it, does not mean we should do it.

And realizing . . .

That our lives would be less stressful, less demanding, it would save us money, it would be better for our health, it would be better for wild animals and nature and it would be better for future generations if we stopped trying to "keep up with the Jonses"

And realizing . . .

That the "status quo" is causing harm to us as a species.
